Embedded systems and prototyping

We build embedded prototypes and firmware, and find out why boards and firmware misbehave, for startups, businesses and researchers.

What we work on

  • Microcontroller selection, bare-metal C and C++ firmware, sensor integration, and wired and wireless communication.
  • Prototype wiring or a printed circuit board, tested and documented.
  • Structured debugging when a board or its firmware doesn’t behave, traced through the code, the schematic and the hardware.

Platforms and tools

  • STM32
  • ESP32
  • Arduino
  • Raspberry Pi
  • Bare-metal C
  • C++

Each project has a fixed price, quoted in writing after the scoping call. Typical ranges are below.

How a prototype gets built

  1. Scope

What it must sense, decide and report, written down.

  2. Architecture

Microcontroller, sensors, power and interfaces chosen.

  3. Build

Firmware and wiring or a PCB, built in small steps you can follow.

  4. Test

    Each requirement checked and recorded.

  5. Handoff

Source code, wiring or PCB files, and a test report.

Ways to work with us

  • Embedded prototype sprint

From idea to a working prototype: microcontroller choice, firmware, wiring or a PCB, and testing.

You get: a working prototype, source code, wiring or PCB files, and a test report.

Typical length 3 to 8 weeksTypical price $1,000 to $5,000

  • Firmware and board debugging

We find out why a board or its firmware isn’t working.

You get: written findings with the root cause and recommended fixes.

Typical length 1 to 2 weeksTypical price $300 to $1,200

Questions

Do you work with clients outside Nigeria?

Yes. Firmware and design work happens remotely, and hardware is shipped or handed over in Lagos. We agree how during scoping.

Do you help students?

With learning, yes: workshops, mentoring and code review. We don’t build graded projects on a student’s behalf.

Start with a scoping call

Tell us what you’re building and where it’s stuck.

A 30-minute video call with the engineer who leads the work. It costs $50, which comes off the project price if you go ahead. Afterwards you get a written scope and a fixed price. Or email hello@syprion.com.
