We design chips, boards and firmware for teams building hardware.
Syprion Labs is an engineering studio. We design analog and mixed-signal blocks, verify RTL, and get boards and firmware working. If you need a model first, we build it so you can see the numbers before a tape-out at the foundry or another board spin. We use the tools and process the project is already in.
The price is fixed, and written down before we start. You talk to the person doing the work, on every call.
We reply within one working day. If it’s a fit, we’ll set up a short call.
Who comes to us
- Hardware startupsYou have a prototype, or just an idea, and need firmware and a board that hold up in front of pilot customers.
- University and research groupsYou’re taping out on a shuttle run, need a block verified, or need a model for a paper or a grant.
- Product and engineering teamsYour team is stretched, a board is misbehaving, or you need an answer before you commit to a design.
What we design

What you walk away with
Files you own, and the proof that they work.
- Source files you own
- Schematics, layout and GDS, RTL, firmware or model files, in a repository you control.
- The evidence
- Simulation reports across corners, or test logs, so you can check every claim.
- A design note
- Why each choice was made, written so another engineer can pick the work up.
- A walkthrough
- A call with your team to go through the results and answer questions.
How a project runs
Every project runs the same way, so you always know what happens next and what it costs.

Reply within one working day
If something’s unclear, we’ll ask a couple of questions first.
15-minute fit call
By invitation. What you need, whether we’re the right fit, and a rough ballpark. No design work on this call.
Scoping call
$50, 30 minutes, credited to the project if you go ahead.
Written quote
Scope, deliverables, a fixed price and dates, usually within two working days of the scoping call.
Phased delivery
Larger work starts with a short paid review or pilot. Weekly updates, then source files, reports, a design note and a walkthrough.
Typical project sizes
Typical length and cost, so you know the scale before you get in touch.
These aren’t quotes. Your fixed price comes in writing after we talk. Parts, PCB fabrication and shuttle fees are billed at cost. Prices are in US dollars. We’ll also quote in naira for Nigeria, and in euros, pounds, or another currency for clients elsewhere.

All updatesNew website, now with published pricing
Every service on our capabilities page now shows an indicative budget range and a typical timeline, so you can gauge the size of a project before we speak. Final quotes depend on scope and are confirmed in writing after a scoping call. If you would rather describe your project in writing, the contact page now has a short enquiry form. Going forward, this log is where we will post shorter updates on open-source releases and lessons from our work.
Our team
Syprion Labs is led by its founder, Kelvin Olonade. We bring in experienced engineers from our network as projects need them: analog and layout, RTL and verification, embedded firmware and PCB design. Everyone works under the same NDA and IP terms, and every deliverable is reviewed before it reaches you.
We read every enquiry. If it isn’t something we do well, we’ll say so, and point you to someone who does where we can.
Questions
The short answers. Anything else, ask on the fit call.
Who owns the work?
You do. Once the final invoice is paid, the designs, layouts, source code and reports are yours. We keep our general tools, scripts and know-how, and we never reuse your design or share your details on other work.
How does the NDA work?
Send us yours, or we’ll send our one-page mutual NDA. It’s signed before you share any confidential files, and we agree how files are exchanged, for example through a shared folder you control.
How do payments work?
A deposit of 30–50% before work starts (100% for small jobs and paid reviews), and the rest on delivery. Longer projects are split into milestones. Prices on this site are in US dollars. We’ll also quote in naira for Nigeria, and in euros, pounds, or another currency for clients elsewhere.
What if the scope changes?
The quote lists exactly what’s included. If you need something outside it, we write up the change with its cost and its effect on the dates, and we only start it once you approve. Small clarifications along the way are part of the job.
How long does a project take?
Reviews and debugging usually take one to two weeks, prototypes and verification sprints three to eight, and a full analog block six to twelve. Your quote gives dates, and weekly updates show where things stand.
Do you work with clients outside Nigeria?
Yes. Most work is remote. Hardware is shipped or handed over in Lagos, and we agree how during scoping. We’re on West Africa Time (UTC+1), which overlaps with European working hours and US mornings.
